Button Head Socket Cap screws, or simply ‘button head screws’ are designed for light fastening applications as their low head height lacks the strength of the standard socket head cap screws. Button Heads have a low domed head with a wide bearing surface making them less likely to to snag on moving machinery. All socket screws (Button Head, Socket Cap and Flat Head) are tightened with an Allen key (socket wrench) drive.
