Custom Titanium Anodizing – Project Workflow

Titanium anodizing enhances both appearance and corrosion resistance without dyes or coatings. Using an electric process, we can achieve a wide range of vibrant colors. Please note: true red and black are not achievable by anodizing, and small fasteners may limit multi-color options.

Explore our full range of anodized colors in the 4K Titanium Color Chart.

How It Works (3 Simple Steps)

  1. Select Your Fasteners: Shop our Titanium Fastener Collection and add items to your cart.
  2. Count Your Pieces: Total up the number of fasteners you’d like anodized (needed for pricing).
  3. Choose Anodizing Type: Pick from One-Color or Splatter Finish options below.

Option 1: One-Color Anodizing

One-color titanium anodizing example
  • Setup Fee: $12.50 (flat per project)
  • Cost per Piece: $1.50 each

Example: 20 fasteners → $12.50 + ($1.50 × 20) = $42.50 (plus cost of fasteners).

After checkout, email your color choice and order # to: Support@MonsterBolts.com

Option 2: Splatter Finish Anodizing

  • Setup Fee: $20–$30 (depends on complexity)
  • Cost per Piece: Based on number of colors
  • Options:
    • 1-color splatter: base titanium + 1 chosen color
    • 2-color splatter: most popular choice
    • 3-color splatter: not recommended for very small fasteners

After checkout, email your splatter color combo + order # to: Support@MonsterBolts.com

Quick Checklist Before You Order:

  • Add titanium fasteners to your cart.
  • Decide one-color or splatter finish.
  • Count your pieces for pricing.
  • Complete checkout, then email color preferences + order number to Support@MonsterBolts.com.

Tip: High-contrast splatter colors (like purple + gold or teal + silver) give the most striking results.

Custom Titanium Anodizing FAQ

Can you anodize any fastener?

We anodize titanium fasteners only. Stainless steel, aluminum, or steel fasteners cannot be anodized with this titanium process.

Are all colors possible?

Most vibrant colors are achievable, but true red and true black are not possible by titanium anodizing. See our 4K color chart.

How do I tell you my color choice?

After checkout, email your color(s) and order number to Support@MonsterBolts.com.

What about small sizes and multi-color splatter?

Very small fasteners have limited surface area; 3-color splatter isn’t recommended. One- or two-color splatter gives the best results.

How is pricing calculated?

For one-color: a flat $12.50 setup + $1.50 per piece. Splatter pricing includes a $20–$30 setup (complexity-based) plus a per-piece rate based on number of colors.

Will color vary?

Minor shade variation is normal due to geometry and surface finish. We aim for close visual matches within a project.

What’s the lead time?

Lead time depends on volume and complexity. If you’re on a deadline, email us and we’ll advise current timing.

How durable is the finish?

The anodic film is thin and integral to the titanium surface. It’s hard and corrosion-resistant but can be marred by abrasion. Handle with care during installation.
