The external hex drive accepts sockets or impact drivers for rapid, high-torque installation. Heat-treated carbon steel receives a brilliant bright-zinc electro-plate, is hydrogen-relief baked to IFI spec, and finished with a factory dry-wax film for smooth, repeatable seating torque. The Type F fluted point taps clean internal threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole; chips clear through the flute—no chip clean-up.
