The undercut design removes roughly 70 % of the head cone, letting you maintain full thread length without losing flush seating. Heat-treated carbon steel receives a brilliant bright-zinc electro-plate, is hydrogen-relief baked to IFI specs, and finished with a factory dry-wax film for reliably low drive torque. A Type F fluted point taps clean female threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole; chips clear through the flute—no nut required.
