The cutting slot taps internal threads as the screw drives—no nuts, pilot holes or chip clean-up. Each heat-treated carbon-steel fastener carries a lustrous bright zinc electro-plate, is hydrogen-relief baked to meet IFI specs, and receives a factory dry-wax film for reliably low seating torque.
