Heat-treated carbon-steel blanks wear a brilliant bright-zinc electro-plate, are hydrogen-relief baked, then factory dry-waxed for ultra-low, repeatable drive torque. The captive washer flange spreads load, while the Type F fluted point taps clean mating threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole—chips exit via the flute, and no nut is required.
