#12-24 Slotted Hex-Washer Thread-Cutting Screws combine bolt-level clamping with the corrosion protection of 18-8 stainless steel—perfect for marine panels, food-equipment frames, HVAC cabinets, trailer skins and dense hardwood-to-steel builds. The indented hex head with integral washer spreads load and covers oversize holes, while a broad flat-blade slot offers a back-up drive when a socket won’t fit. Each screw is passivated for maximum rust resistance and coated with a factory dry-wax film for smooth, repeatable seating torque. A Type F fluted point taps clean internal threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole; chips exit through the flute—no backing nut, no chip clean-up.
