These #12-24 6-Lobe (Torx) Pan Head Screws cut their own mating threads with a Type F fluted point taps mating threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole—no nut required; chips clear through the flute. Bright zinc electro-plating provides corrosion resistance; every lot is hydrogen-relief baked and factory dry-waxed for predictably low drive torque.
