#4-20 6-Lobe (Torx) Flat Head PT 48-2 Thread-Forming Screws employ a
Plastite-alternative tri-lobular flank that plastically flows plastic,
carving chip-free internal threads—no pre-tapping, no debris.
Heat-treated carbon-steel blanks receive a deep black-oxide conversion finish
for low-glare corrosion protection, then a factory wax coat delivering
consistently low seating torque. Bulk master cartons keep per-unit cost razor-low.
