Tackle heavy-duty plastic assemblies with 5/16″-9 × 1 ¼″ Slotted Indent Hex-Washer Head PT 48-2 Thread-Forming Screws. The forged top slot lets you start or finish by screwdriver if a socket can’t reach, while the captive washer hex head flies through production with a 7/16″ nut-runner. The Plastite-alternative tri-lobular thread cold-flows thermoplastic, cutting chip-free internal threads—no pre-tapping, no cleanup. Heat-treated carbon-steel screws are bright-zinc plated, hydrogen-relief baked, then factory wax-lubed for repeatable low drive torque.
