Our #6-32 Phillips Flat-Undercut Thread-Cutting Screws solve that by trimming away most of the head cone—giving you a perfectly flush finish plus full thread engagement in material as thin as 0.040″. Heat-treated carbon steel carries a brilliant bright-zinc electro-plate, is hydrogen-relief baked to prevent embrittlement, and topped with a factory dry-wax film for ultra-low, repeatable seating torque. A Type F fluted point taps clean internal threads in a pre-drilled or punched hole; chips clear through the flute—no nut required.
