#8-16 6-Lobe (Torx) Flat Head PT 48-2 Thread-Forming Screws employ a
Plastite-alternative tri-lobular flank that cold-flows plastic and creates
chip-free internal threads—no pre-tapping, no cleanup.
Machined from corrosion-proof 18-8 (304) stainless steel,
each screw is passivated to ASTM A967 and factory
wax-lubed for repeatably low seating torque.
