Countersink plastic housings with bulk #8-16 6-Lobe (Torx) Flat Head PT 48-2 Thread-Forming Screws from Monster Bolts.
The tri-lobular Plastite® geometry plastically flows thermoplastic, forming chip-free internal threads—no pre-tapping, no cleanup.
Each heat-treated carbon-steel screw is bright-zinc electro-plated then baked to remove hydrogen embrittlement, followed by a factory wax coat for ultra-low seating torque. Master cartons drive per-unit cost down for high-volume assembly.
