PLEASE READ – Installation & Fitment Notes
Fine-tuning screws and bridge threads naturally wear over time. On older or heavily used bridges, threads may be worn or deformed, which can affect installation of new fine tuners regardless of material.
When removing original fine tuners, slowly backing them out may damage bridge threads if resistance is encountered. Many technicians recommend removing the crimped portion of the original fine tuner threads for cleaner extraction.
During installation, apply light downward pressure and thread the titanium fine tuners in slowly to ensure proper alignment and smooth engagement.
After installation, lightly crimping the bottom threads is recommended to help prevent the fine tuners from backing out during use.
If this process is outside your comfort level, professional installation by a qualified guitar technician or luthier is strongly recommended.
